These products can also leave a residue on your skin that hinders the development of your tan, resulting in an uneven or patchy appearance.

TIP #2 - WAX OR SHAVE
Much like exfoliating, waxing and/or shaving will help remove all those icky dead skin cells and unnecessary hairs and create a nice, smooth canvas for the tanning solution. You’ll want to do this within 24 hours before your spray tan to ensure your skin is smooth and free from any hair that can interfere with the tanning solution.
TIP #3- USE A PRIMER

TIP #5- TAN NAKED OR NOT?
Some individuals opt to undergo spray tanning in the nude, which is completely acceptable and completely normal! There is no one else present in the tanning room or booth, so who really minds? YOLO. However, others may feel more comfortable wearing something into the booth, like an old bathing suit or underwear (plus, you can achieve cute, natural tan lines). This is also a viable choice, but it's important to note that whatever you wear into the booth may get stained, so it's advisable to wear something you don't mind getting ruined or set aside as your designated "spray tanning outfit".
